Local Communities Decide 2016
Every four years, Queensland electors decide on who they want to represent their local interests through what is often described as the level of government closest to the people. The local government elections on 19 March have attracted nearly 1800 candidates across 77 local council areas. Who will be your mayor for the next four years? How many women will be on your local council? For answers to these questions and more, this is the place to start from.
